Alright, so my article is eligible to be moved and my spelling and grammar is not up to snuff as I can't find much to correct. Here is what the editor says about the article.

-I would move the poll down. We want readers to gain some information before engaging in a poll. This helps readers stay on the page.

-Can you do one more read-through for spelling and grammar errors? I would especially look for places where "its" should be "it's" and where there should be a comma.

    Your help is greatly appreciated!

You should add a reference/link capsule at the end of the article and include those sites you are linking too. They are good sources, but if someone goes and reads one of those articles they may not come back to your own site.
I would also recommend you make the poll more meaningful. Your article is about what it is like living with someone with BPD, but the poll does not reflect that.
I do not see any grammatical problems but there are many writers on here that might find something.

Thank you, Doc, I will revisit the article with your suggestions in mind. As for your suggestion, however, could you clarify as to whether I should leave the in-line links or remove them and simply make a resource section at the end?

My grammar is usually pretty good, but I don't see anything resembling what the editor is referring to.  Three changes that I would suggest:

      Last paragraph before the poll:

      "calloused" should be "callous"
      "damages" should be "damage"

      Last sentence:

      "could" should be "can"

      Hope that helps.

Changes made, and they definitely made it much more authoritative and direct. Thank you so much!

I did remove in-line links, however, and moved it to a resource section, but now I feel like everything looks uncouth. Perhaps that is just my personal style feeling as if it is being infringed upon, though I do see the necessity of moving off-site links to the bottom whenever possible.

All I can suggest is that you read the top traffic articles to the niche site to which you have submitted this. They have likely been edited by HP staff and are using the style that they want to follow. They want all of the articles to have a consistent look, which means Amazon links, not Amazon capsules, and a resource capsule, not links leading to sites off of the HP domain.

I was a bit caught off guard, because I wrote that article more as a personal essay and the editors contacted me for it without submission. I'll go do that now, thank you.

The first article I click on has a poll immediately after the first paragraph, hahaha! I feel like I'm in for a confusing, paradoxical time.

Oh well, at least we can laugh about it.
I guess I should have said "MAYBE they want all of their articles to have a consistent look". Then again...
