I was wondering whether we can find some qualities or attributes or nature of fellow hubbers just by viewing their profile pics. I feel I can guess from their profile pics about certain things like he/she might be an ever smiling fellow or he/she is a serious person or he/she appears to be religious or he/she is a gypsy type or he/she is concerned about his/her looks and so on.
It is only a guess and speculative in nature. I am no authority on that. Have you ever felt like that? Making about the hubber after seeing the profile pic. Something like say he/she appears to be a kind hearted person. Please share your views.
We are what we are and cannot hide it. I will be God's Manatita and you will be God's Bhattuc.
Yes, we can form opinions, like John said, but the deeper the Spirituality, the more an individual can be read. By his words on paper, thought-patterns, eyes and the psychology of a few other things.
Ramakrishna used to read his disciples simply by looking at their hands, eyes, face and so forth. The eyes are a mirror to the soul.
A lot of times we can and I have, like I guessed this one guy is a total intellectual the other day just from his profile picture. But sometimes you can’t tell, especially if it’s an old picture
Yes, bhattuc. I think we do form opinions on what the person may be like from their profile pics. Whether we are right or wrong remains to be seen until we get to know that person better from their writing and comments. Sometimes, they change their picture and maybe our perception does too.
I think it depends on person in question. Some like to keep their profile up-to-date with their current situation while some don't give much thought about them. I for example don't update my profile pic in here. But on other platforms I keep updating my profile to current situation.
Some give neither profile nor pic. There's psychology even in this!
Dav, your profile pic is forcing me to believe that you are a cheerful person. Am I correct praji?
Funny Bhattuc Ji
But you are a good man. Your inner nature is sweet, tender, affectionate... mature. Look to the inside and the rest will follow. Hari Om Tat Sat!!
I believe it's all in the article, feedback or responses, a picture may be perceived different to a response, never judge a book by the cover but by the content
I choose my profile picture because it was a picture I had taken for my LinkedIn profile. I imagine it looks a bit over professional, but that is how I feel about writing for HubPages.
I don't think too much about others profile pictures. I do recognize the people I see most often though.
Haha entertaining question, bhattuc. I like to hear your opinions on people's profile pics!
Haha. I can't say I am crazy about flora and fauna but I do think they are lovely. I hope to be more responsible towards the environment.
If the private, sincere and serious comment was for me Umesh, it's a great balance, thank you for the compliment
As a writer I think, it's good to leave it to ones imagination.
Maybe there will be consideration for an unveiling of what's behind the name with time.
I think it's in our nature to make an assumption about someone, based on their profile picture. However, most of the time they're false. Personally, I just read the writer's articles without even paying attention to their photo.

Are you likely to "follow" someone who doesn't have a profile picture posted?

Ironically, the hub it happened on is about Haunted Hollywood. Perhaps the hub itself is haunted? Whatever, it was quite a shock to find I've turned into an older gentleman, albeit a rather nice looking one, that I don't recognize. Oddly, this is the only hub where I don't...

I wish to save somebodies profile pic as a jpg, preferably larger than the one shown, in order to do a suprise tribute hub to them. Dont worry, they would appreciate it, and it wont be too sickly.I know that there is a way because somebody was on here upset that somebody had used their profile pic...

Why do some hubbers not have their real picture on their profile?I've seen at least a couple of hubbers who have photos of actors or actresses as their profile image. Whom are they trying to fool and why?

Hi everyone!I'm just new here and I am curious about the number next to my profile pic. It is just 27 before, day by day it's increasing. Now it's showing 57. Can somebody tell me what it is? Any further explanations about this will be highly appreciated. Thanks and have great hobs ahead!
