I used to write in Squidoo back in the day, but haven't been in the arena for years now... so now I've written a couple of articles a week ago, they're featured and all, but haven't been indexed by Google.
How do I get them indexed, nowadays?
I think the only way at this point on HP is to wait for the article to get indexed. I think in the old days people would submit their url's to Google through Google Console or, as it was called in the old days, Webmaster Tools. But we don't use that anymore since we ended the subdomains, so I don't think there's any wait to get indexed other than having titles that get crawled and indexed by Google. And the amount of time that takes varies.
Cool profile pic, by the way.

New hubber here! (Well, sorta new. Started an account years ago and just checked back in.) Still trying to grasp the whole SEO thing and I'm wondering how long it takes to get a hub indexed and how to tell if you have been? Also, are articles on the niche sites more "findable" on google...

I now have 11 hubs that are not indexed by google - nothing published since July 12 (the last one was published on the 9th and indexed yesterday). Normally I've seen then set up with 24 hours, occasionally in 48, but now it's 8 days and not done!!??

Elsewhere on the forums people are reporting very long delays in getting indexed by Google - the delays seem to be increasing. Obviously this has been caused by the NOINDEX tag added to new hubs when under review and to ZZZ hubs while being reconsidered. Surely this is of concern to HP? As a writer...

Usually I can find my articles on Google within a few hours, sometimes minutes. Now it seems I can't even find my articles on the site for more than 36 hours after they are published.I believe the new idle feature is affecting how hubs are indexed. Doesn't this affect traffic? What is causing this...

What are reasons a hub wouldn't get indexed by Google?I wrote what I'd consider a decent informative hub about 4 weeks ago, and it still hasn't been indexed by Google. I'm not exactly sure why, and I haven't done a lot of research into the possible cause, but maybe someone else knows some reasons...

It's been posted by other people a few times. However, the article it has not indexed is a tutorial on getting an adsense account more quickly than applying by using hubpages.Yahoo and Bing picked it up in a few hours, but google doesn't have it, days later. Is it possible that google will not index...
