Glitch: YouTube videos not showing on articles

    This is a message for HubPages tech team.

    I've checked several of my articles, and those of other hubbers, and none of the YouTube videos are showing. I've tried with both Chrome and Internet Explorer on my laptop, but there's nothing there except the header showing for each video capsule.

    Please can you investigate? Thanks in advance.

    EDIT: Just rechecked and the issue seems to have resolved itself.

    When I checked I got the message "video no longer available because user has closed Youtube account"

      No, that's not what I mean. I've checked videos on YouTube and the ones I'm referring to are all still live on YouTube.

      For example, there are 2 videos on this one that are not showing on my article (apart from their headings), but they are still live on YouTube.

    I just checked a few videos on different articles and hubbers, including the one you linked,  and I can see and play the videos with no issues.  I'm using Chrome.

      Just gone and rechecked and the videos are showing fine now. Don't know what the problem was, but it seems to be resolved.

    I'm using the latest version of Chrome and have the same problem. The video on my Spider plants article works fine, but on my watering tomatoes article and the link you put up, the video does not show at all, no error message, nothing. Also, in edit mode, the video capsule is completely collapsed.

    I'm using Firefox and my videos aren't displayed either. I can see the capsule in edit mode, but when I click on the play button, this is what I get.

      @ eugbug That's a different issue. That message appears when the video owner doesn't want it posted on other websites. What I'm describing is where the video is not blocked, no message appears on my hub, but it is not possible to see it.

        Yes, that's what's happening to me too. I don't have any titles on my video, so there's just nothing appearing in the space where the capsule should be.

    Thanks everyone for your comments, the videos are now showing again. So whatever the problem was, it's resolved.
