Help!  I've received a notice saying my Google Adsense account have been inactive for five months and will be deactivated in one month, and that I need to connect my "site" to AdSense.  I've spent all day searching on HubPages and the internet trying to find out how to correct, but everything is either confusing or out-of-date.  Can anyone help me please!  Thank you so much -- I really need the income right now!

We no longer use our Adsense accounts here at HP. You can hook up your Adsense somewhere else, maybe try Wizzley.

Timoth, try. Goggle's Blogger. It is more convenient.

NateB11 -- I'm not sure I understand.  Are you saying it is no longer possible to use Google AdSense on HubPages?  And if not, can you help me understand why?  Thank you.

Sure. Hubpages stopped requiring us to have an Adsense account and instead they just handle ads here, which is some combination of Adsense and other programs; but, at any rate, they handle the whole thing, we no longer use our own Adsense accounts. However, if you activate the Hubpages Earnings Program in your Earnings Settings, you will still earn money here. You can also activate the Amazon Earnings Program if you use that.

If you don't want to lose your own Adsense account, you can use it elsewhere like Wizzley or as was pointed out on Blogger also. Or if you're feeling frisky you can start your own sites, but that's a whole different ball game.

Just to clarify, it seems the only place you used Adsense was on HP so when HP stopped having us use our own Adsense accounts, you no had any activity on your Adsense account; hence, their message to you there at Adsense.

Thank you for your time and trouble NateB11.

So HubPages no longer allows Google AdSense if I understood you, and I should just ignore AdSense's email?  Again, my thanks!

Yeah, Hubpages doesn't have us use Adsense so you don't need it here. If you wanted to use Adsense elsewhere you'd have to pursue other avenues.

You don't have to act on it, but if you're not going to use Adsense elsewhere, it could be worth applying to have your account closed.  Then they will send you the balance without you having to reach the usual threshold.

NattB11, you're very much welcomed. How can I connect with Amazon? Can you help with a link? Thanks.

You just activate the Amazon Program in your Earnings Settings.

            Sorry here's the link

            https://hubpages.com/my/earnings/affiliate/

You just configure/activate the Amazon Program there.

Tim, AdSense will keep sending you such warnings and notices. To get rid of them, you have to go into your actual AdSense account, and remove all HP sites from your settings.

Thank you all for taking the time to help me understand this.  I was going crazy trying to figure out what to do, and that was just more stress I don't need right now.  Again, BIG, BIG, thanks!
