What’s the HPB policy if I took my 4 parts of a short series to include them in an eBook to self-publish on the internet?

That would be a good idea if you had the copy right to the series. And of course you do.             The problem is that once you publish something on the internet, it seems you cannot republish it again on the internet, or you may have to delete the original copy or copies.    You will also be alerted that the e-book is a duplicate, if you insisted for its publication.            HP has no copy right to your works, unless you sold the story to them.

Miebakagh is wrong. You own the copyright to your articles on HubPages and there is absolutely nothing to stop you using them in your own ebook.

Several Hubbers have done it in the past with absolutely no problems.

Marisa, where do I go wrong? I said she do own the copywrite, not HP.                                 Go back and re-read my comment. Why do you told her that she do own the copy right, and then with the same breath said. "Miebakagh is wrong"?                      Marisa, I had a related experience on HP last year. So I do know for sure what I said to be correct. I leverage m that test to inform. Thank you.

It's this bit, "The problem is that once you publish something on the internet, it seems you cannot republish it again on the internet."

              That's not true.

You can't publish at HubPages if it has been published elsewhere *first* (unless it's been deindexed by the search engines).

You can republish *after* it's been published at Hubpages. You will receive a 'copied content' warning but that can be ignored. I had a whole bunch of hubs gathered into a e-magazine.

              Raggededge explained.

Besides, if you make something into an ebook, it is not "on the internet".  It is inside an ebook.

It won't really matter. You may get an alert on your hubs that your "work has been stolen," but since it's been stolen by you, it won't  matter. Your traffic and etc will not really be affected, unless you're getting thousands of views a day.
