As I'm from Europe (the Netherlands) I still have trouble seeing ads, but I don't see any videos at all anymore in my articles and I don't know if they're completely out/banned or because we Europeans are having trouble with the overhauled niche sites.
Especially in my article about degenerative myelopathy the videos of my dog's movements are essential to the article. Can someone please tell me if they're visable or not?
Hi, Titia. Here in Canada, I can see the videos in your article, but not immediately. The text loads first and the photos and videos load afterwards.
I also discovered something else when I looked at your article and at some other ones on PetHelpful. If I start scrolling downwards before the HubPages video at the top has loaded or finished, a small version of the video appears on the left of the screen and stays there as I scroll, obscuring text in the article. I have to click the X on the video to close it. Things seem to be getting worse.
I believe that was how the hubpages video was intended to work. It did the same thing on Tatring (the first site that had the video) up until they stopped showing ads before the video. All network sites are in different phases of the video from what I can tell. Some load the video straight away, while others still load an ad first before playing the video. Although in my experience different articles on the same niche site react differently which seems odd. Could just be my computer though. I've had issues seeing ads for awhile now.
Titia I'm in the US and can see your videos on that article as well. Like Alicia they take awhile to load as do the pictures and ads.
Ah thanks for checking, I'm glad they are visable to visitors. When I open one of my own articles the photos are there right away, but no videos (except the niche video which scrolls down) or ads show up.
When I open one of your articles the niche site video shows, but doesn't scroll down and sometimes I see ads, sometimes I don't.

Hello, I have a peculiar problem. Whenever I open any of my articles, the videos do not show. All the other items (text, pictures) are fine but the videos. However, if I go to edit the article, the videos appear or if I search for my article on Google, the videos show. So, why don't the videos show...

I'm dying for a reformat as it concerns the placement of ads on articles, lest I be forced to unpublish and move all my articles in favor of a site that works harder on QoL (pretending I even matter here, lol, let me have my pretentious crybaby moment). Most annoyingly, it is the videos and...

Now that HP has reformated the niche sites, my articles have unrelated videos at the top of my articles. For example, my "Ten Books on How to Live a Happy Life" has a video on butterflies. That is all you see unless you scroll down. All I see is the video on butterflies. It is...

This is a message for HubPages tech team.I've checked several of my articles, and those of other hubbers, and none of the YouTube videos are showing. I've tried with both Chrome and Internet Explorer on my laptop, but there's nothing there except the header showing for each video capsule. Please...

Why are there random videos heading Network site articles? Is there an option to remove that feature? I find them distracting and sometimes misleading to the content of the article.
