Is there like a preferred number of videos, outgoing links to achieve I higher hub score? I have been making some top ten list lately using roughly the same formula (1 video,3-4 outgoing links,1-2 links to other hubpages, 100 words per section/opening,top ten, closing) and my score flux from 96 to 72. I'm wondering how to improve the lower hubs without messing with what I think is the best layout for the types of post I am making.
There's no formula. No one knows how it works so there's no point worrying about it. Just aim to write the best article you can.
Thank for the info. I just wish I could have more control.
You do have control. It's in strong, effective writing and simple presentation
I have come to the conclusion that one of us figuring out Googles' algorithm is going to be more likely than figuring out the Hubscore algorithm.
Sounds about right. Sucks because I'm afraid to edit my post too much and forsake the presentation.
Ignore the score. Write your article the way you think it needs to be written.

I've been making a screendump of my overall hub stats each day to try and keep track of what's going on so I can work out "what works on HubPages" and what doesn't. The aim is to determine some sort of priority about what to do next.Up until now I've been focused on the traffic data and...

I know everyone says HubScore doesn't matter, but I'd like to get my scores up anyway. Is there a formula or anything? It is just that for one of my fun topics (cryptids) I have been making top 10 list of cryptids found in various parts of the world and basically use the same format for each of...

I want to know that what is the maximum score of a hub or hubber? How we can increase it?

When I published a hub a couple of weeks ago it reached a score of 96. Wow! I almost convinced myself that I had finally got it right! Wrong! Two weeks later the hub now has a score of 88! What should I read into that? Most people say that one should not concern...

I know everyone says pay no attention to Hubber Score and Hub Scores but it's really a little hard to ignore when I have ended up with 48-50 hubs in the 60's. HubPages has made it pretty clear they don't want my kind of hubs and writing on here. I always had some hubs in the 60's maybe 5 or 6 but...
