Pinning from articles works ok, but I can't create new pins on Pinterest using the "+" button. When the pin is composed and the "Publish" button is clicked, nothing happens. This issue occurs when using Firefox and Chrome.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
They've changed it, and it is a bit awkward, but I did make it work. When you are on your "feed," at the top of the page, the second pull down menu from the left is Create. Select Create Pin, then where it says "Save from website" paste the website address. Then you have to click that arrow thing next what you just pasted and you will be able to select the photo you want to use. I hope this helps
That would work, but it seems that HP has managed to destroy the readers ability to pin or share. This may not amount to much money per individual writer, but it is certainly going to cost the site owners a great deal.
This is a real concern. Next to Google, Pinterest is my highest source of traffic, and is actually not that far behind.
I just pinned an article from dengarden (not mine) using the pinterest icon on the site, it worked fine. I use Chrome.
That's what I'm doing, clicking "+" leads to the same dialog, but unfortunately when I click on "publish", nothing happens.
Did you click the arrow thing before publishing? That's the problem I was having. If you don't click the arrow you can't select a photo, if you don't select a photo it won't publish.
I've had problems too. I generally use Google browser, but now have M Edge for Pinterest.
Hi, I wonder why not using a Pinterest app? I am using it and am facing no issue in creating new boards and pins plus posting them! Try to use Pinterest via the app. I think it will work better than the browsers.
I got to the bottom of this problem I was saving images from niche site articles, but forgot they were .webp images, whereas only jpgs and I think GIFS work on Pinterest. It's a pity they don't notify us that a non jpg image format is not acceptable when we try to post?

Is pinning to Pinterest a violation of copyright laws?Unless you are pinning your own work and pin someone else's work, you might be violating copyright as you do not own the rights to this work.

We added the Pinterest "Pin It" button to the small collection of popular social-sharing buttons at the top of Hubs on Thursday. Pinterest has rapidly become one of the largest social media traffic drivers to HubPages, already substantially larger than Twitter and Reddit. Maddie wrote a...

I finally did it! I took the plunge. I opened an account two weeks ago, but had not created a "board" or pinned anything. I'm still not sure how to get followers, but I'll learn.
