Can you create a permanent link from hub pages to an external site? Please help.
Sure can, just keep in mind you are only allowed 2 outbound links to the same domain.
While editing your capsule, click and drag to highlight some text. Then click the "link" icon on the editor toolbar (it looks like a chain). This will open a new window where you enter the url of the destination.
Another website asked me to show a permanent link to their site. I build the links in a capsule and they say that's not a "permanent link." Thanks for the help. Am I just missing something?
Generally sites do that to see if you are the owner of the page. If you are doing it like 1974 has said, then you are doing it rite.
You'll have to ask what their definition is of a "permanent link".
They might be wanting something in the site navigation/menu, which you can't do.
