Not sure what the legal consequences would be though. Maven's terms say that we cannot produce content that:
"(iii) Would constitute, encourage or provide instructions for a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party or otherwise create liability or violate any local, state, national or international law;"
....however I'm not actually doing that.
I precleared it with the team before writing and they said go ahead. Both of us had the idea of writing it from the point of view of ripping and uploading content that I actually have copyright to. So I made up a CD with fictional tracks and artists and added artwork.
