I need suggestions on potential keyword overuse

I am working on having this article moved to a Niche site. https://discover.hubpages.com/health/ho … at_no_cost

In the section with the header "Where to Find No Fee Courses," I originally went with HP's suggestion to make the anchor text's purpose absolutely clear, but felt I was overusing the word "Reiki." Ergo, I removed it in two instances. Now though, I feel the same about the word "free." It feels as if it's a word horse that I have beaten to death. Even though I have used synonyms at times, the effect is the same.

Opinions, please; how does it come across?

I in a way regret having written the piece, as to keep the idea consistent within it that I am indeed writing about free courses and not paid, there appears to be a need to keep repeating the word "free." It's a real schmozzle.

PS: Sorry, I am trying to ask this while editing. I can't believe what I just had to edit out of this query.

Your use of the word 'free' isn't keyword stuffing. It appears about 7 times in an article of around 1.6k~ words which is a density less than 0.5%. 'Reiki' should be scaled back, as you've noted yourself. If this is something the editor flagged, then the frequency of 'attune' and 'attunement' is likely also an issue.

The Amazon link won't be accepted because you're not offering personal experience or recommending it for a specific situation/use as a professional or expert. It matches Google's definition of a thin affiliate and this is something HubPages wants to avoid.

I skimmed through the article and there doesn't seem to be any obvious, glaring grammar issues. Overall it's well-written. Fix the Amazon link and potential instances of keyword stuffing and then try again. If it still fails and you're not getting the feedback you need, consider contacting the editor or team because it's a shot in the dark otherwise.

Thanks for the advice. I'll go over it looking for unnecessary instances of attune and attunement then.

    Fanks, Maffew.

You can repeat the keyword of 3% of the total number of words that you have been used, but I prefer to use a keyword with a maximum of just 5 times only. I have an article "Most Beautiful Fishes..." It has more than 1500 words and I repeated the word "fish" 45 times but it's still no 1. on Google.
