I'm getting a message from HubPages saying they want me to verify my email address.  I tell them it's valid, but they want my HP password, and I can't find it; I've always used the auto log-in.  Can anyone tell me where on HubPages I can find this personal information?  Thank you!

Tim, I think the best suggestion I can give is for you to log in without the auto button.                                                   That said, you will atempt to log in via, the password demanding route. You enter your user name and certain near pass-word, and log in. That done, you receive a query that your user name pass code is wrong. You should then proceed to change the passcode. Hope this suggestion helps.

I suggest use the 'Help' link at the top right. From there you will see a list of choices. One of the choices is 'I have HubPages Account questions'. Check that and a new set of choices will appear below. Select 'How do I reset my password'. Follow the instructions and they will send you instructions to reset your password to the email address you put in the queue. I hope that helps.

You would have to have written it down or saved it in your passwords in your internet browser settings.

ReviewM, that's good, and that's also being very careless.                                                                     The best password is intelligible only to the user like the phrase-"every good boy does it fine." Short and memoriable indeed. The initials gives an excellent password that can be adjust with symbols, arabic numerals, and punctuation mark from time to time. But the root remain the same in your mind.                                                                 A year ago, I lost my 18 inches laptop to theft. The only pass-word I saved in my wordpad is to access my log in detail per payment. But I made it hard to guest what it's about, even though I could not recall the three pass word like the first child you've kiss!                      Seriously, I wrote team@hubpages.com for help and they send me an email that they have clear my log-in detail and that I should formulate new passcode. That's done.

Isn't there a 'forgot my password' button when you try to log in? I use the auto log in too, but I always save my internet passwords in a word document too.
