About a month ago I submitted a hub to a network site, but I never heard anything back about it. Usually, I get an email saying it was moved or suggesting changes I should make to it. I kept checking my email but heard nothing. Yesterday, I went back to that hub and clicked the submit to network site button. Suggestions for changes/corrections were there.
Was there some kind of announcement about this change, and I just missed it?
No, nothing has changed. That's strange. Looks like it went through on our end.
I did get an email today after I resubmitted it. Is it normal to have a copy of the suggested changes there where the submission is made?
The site's editor sent you another one today because there were a few other items to address. So you got two requests in total. I'm not sure why you didn't get the first one, though. Might be an error. When you get an edit request, it is supposed to go to the email address you have with us. Apologies for the confusion! Glad you got it in the end.
Did you check your spam folder? I always look in my spam folder if an expected email does not show up in my inbox.
It's a good habit. You should check the spam folder also now-and-then to verify whether the taggings are done properly by the bot-gods.
Nobody has really answered my original question. Have you ever seen corrections posted where you submit to a network site? In other words, you hit the submit button and there are the corrections.
I have never seen this. Generally my articles either get accepted or rejected with no reason why.
I submitted an article in 2018 which never received a response (accepting or denying the submission), even after contacting the editor of that site. I recently resubmitted it taking into account the email correspondance. It took over a month and then it was rejected again despite doing everything the editor had previously asked. Not sure why I never received an email back in 2018, but I received one this time although it took much longer than normal to hear back from the site. No notes or anything in the submission section, back then or now.
I'm not sure I understand? Corrections as in the edit request? Or corrections that you have made? Posted where?
When you hit Submit for the first time, you go through a series of gray boxes to affirm and tick. And you can leave a message for the editor. On submitting a second time, the text from the email, i.e. suggestions for corrections/improvements is copied in there.
I think that's where Sherry means.
Oh ok. Yeah, I don't have any experience with that.

Is a new hub automatically considered for a niche site without me doing anything? I am not sure what the rule is about this.

I recived a note from HubPages an article is eligible for a niche site. The notes at the bottom stated to check grammar. I have done corrections using grammarly and one other editing software. The question is do I wait for them to review or do I go through the process of submitting to a niche site?

Why should I do this?

I know I could just write down when I've submitted an article to a network site, but I don't always do it and it would be handy to have a place where I could see when I submitted so that I know how much time I have before I can submit another one. Even just an automatic email that says I've...

I recently started cleaning up my hubs and I plan to start submitting them to to the niche sites - well rather, the ones that are not already on. I submitted an article this month, however I can't remember which one it was (terrible memory, I know.) How can I know if my submission was successful?...
