I just discovered that some HubPages network sites display both the original and updated dates on articles. Not all network sites display this, but some. Like Youmemindbody, delishably, and Tatring

Periodically, I see stuff like this. I call it inconsistent.

I bet they are doing some testing if it's only on certain sites. I'm not a fan of this layout at all. It is unappealing to my eyes and too cluttered. It looks really bad on mobile with long titles or dates, because it is not all on one line. At least that is what I am seeing on some Delishably articles.

I never liked that the date appeared above the title and this makes it worse somehow. On a positive note, at least it's easier to find the copywrite date. Not sure if that actually counts as a notice though since it doesn't contain the symbol or our name. If it is not a valid notice I think it is unecessary. The copyright already appears farther down.

I prefer the old look with the updated date on top and copyright at the bottom. Currently the copyright is smashed between the Q&A and comment sections and is almost impossible to find unless you know where to look. I don't know why or when it moved below the Q&A, but it would be nice if it could be moved back to the bottom of the actual article.

Yes, they could be testing something as it's only on a few sites and not all of them. smile Thank you!
      Blessings to you!

    Misbah,
I guess that is something new, as I didn't know that either. I don't particularly like some of the changes at all.
For instance, I love your butternut squash article and I have searched through my Feed for 2 days, but it is not there for me to comment. Love and Blessings, Misbah

Aww.. thank you so much, Pamela. No worries, I understand. This happens so frequently on HP. I am glad you read and liked it. I appreciate your kindness, my dear friend. God bless you!
      Much Love!!

I hadn't noticed this either. Perhaps because I don't have articles on those particular niche sites. I see Letterpile doesn't have it set out like that. Not sure that I am a fan. Articles are looking too cluttered already.

Yes, John. Letterpile does not have it. You are correct that it already appears cluttered. I believe there is no need to include two dates. But let's see if they've done it; there might be a reason, I guess.
      Blessings always!
