I'm backing up articles as HTML files to an external drive. Usually when I edit an article, I save the author view version of it to my hard drive and that automatically gets backed up to the Cloud also. Every so often, I run Cobian Backup which also backs files up to an external hard drive. I've had problems with my computer recently, so I've been doing things manually. However I notice a lot of articles have change dates from right through this year, even though I don't remember adding content or editing them. When I check the saved versions on hard disk, some of them date back to last year. Often I get these "Congratulations! We've Reviewed Your Article on and It Looks Great" emails, sometimes I think even if I haven't even edited an article. I wonder could editors be opening articles and saving them and this changes the date in statistics?
I think what happened was editors did basic edits to lots of articles and I forgot to back them up to hard drive.
I usually get those "Congratulations! We've Reviewed Your Article and It Looks Great" emails a few days after I update articles, but sometimes they come out of the blue. However, when I review my notes (yes, I keep notes on every change I make), I see that I had revised those articles ages ago.
Conclusion: Some niche site editors are delayed with reviewing updated hubs. But that’s okay. They’re probably busy with more crucial tasks, such as reviewing newly posted articles.

Who continues to edit and write here and notices an uptick or more in views, CPM or revenue?

Two emails from two writing teams that arrived in my in-basket just minutes apart illustrate one reason why.I certainly understand the need to edit articles to ensure they meet the highest standards. But for me, at least, there is an enthusiasm...
