It is always fun learning about dishes of which we may be unfamiliar. https://delishably.com/world-cuisine/Be … e-Meatloaf

Hi Peggy. Thank you for sharing this on a forum.

Embutido was one of my childhood favorites to pair with rice. And topping it with ketchup really makes it even better.

I just know it's made up of any ground meat. Didn't know the other ingredients up until this post.

I was kind of traumatized with my aunt serving me Galantina instead of the usual embutido that I know. And I have to eat it for like a week for lunch at school. For some reason, it gave me a feeling of having nausea just everytime I see it (galantina). So for a long time, I had have disgust for both variations.

There's just a slightly weird taste that you'll know, it isn't embutido that everybody used to love. But its appearance is almost the same.

I've seen people prepare it as similar too how hungarian sausage would look and taste like then call it embutido on there menu but whenever I receive my order, I'm like "did I got it wrong? Is this embutido for them?". Cause it doesn't seem to be the one I used to see and eat growing up.

Well, maybe you can try both too. Peggy. Galantina and Embutido. Both spanish inspired dish. I think galantina has cheese filling inside it and it's more white. In embutido, some would even add raisins into the mixture but I'm not sure if I remember it correctly.

Thank you again Peggy. This has brought me quite some memories with the dish.

Coincidentally, I have just bought some ready to cook embutido at the grocery store the other day. There are some that you can buy at the market that you can just slice it and fry it like how you would with spam. Might cook it for lunch sometime this coming week.

    Have a great weekend Peggy.

    God Bless You.

This sounds like an interesting and tasty dish. I like flavorful recipes that contain something special hidden inside a covering.
