I have quite a few notices of copied hubs.  Quite a few of them have been removed after sending DMCA notices.  Others have also been removed over time, probably due to other people's efforts.  Yet they still appear as copied hubs.  Is there any way that we can delete these notices?

Thank you Peggy and Matt. I have been here a long time but did not ever pay attention to the Check for Violations.

Awesome. I didn't know we could do that!

Thanks Matt.  I just did it and the ETA is 12 minutes.  It will be great to have many of those copied hub notices removed.  I would never have known to do this!

I did what Matt said to do, and it did not help.  At least 8 of the notices remain after the sites no longer exist.

Please send an example link to team@hubpages.com and we will investigate.

Looks like I made an error. Clicking the "check for violations now" button does not speed up the removal of the copied content notices. If you visit your copied content page, https://hubpages.com/my/hubs/copied , you will see "next check in # days" for each article. When the check is run again the copied notice will be removed if the article is no longer copied somewhere else on the web.

Copied content notices do not negatively impact your HubPages account.

Thanks Matt.  Sometimes those next checks are half a year or more in length away.  At least we now know that sooner or later they will be removed, and that we need do nothing to speed up the process.
