When will my article show up in search engines?

Just curious if anyone can shed some light on this issue. I published a very large article on New Year's Day, intended to be a New Year's special, and almost three full months later, nobody is able to find my article anywhere online still. I'd put so much effort into the article in question, it's a bit disheartening that nobody in the article's target fandom can even find it, to be honest. All of my other articles were quickly indexed and can be found easily, but this one has just sat idle for some reason. What can cause this? Is there anything that can be done?

    Thanks for any advice.

It's up to Google how long it takes for content to show up in their search engine. I'd say on average it takes a few days after it's featured on HubPages. Sometimes it takes longer. If you have any more issues with this, please send an email to team@hubpages.com so we can investigate.

      It can take some time!

(By the way, I absolutely love your Japanese metal niche. As a longtime fan of Loudness, I had no idea there was so much more out there.)

Thank you. I think mainly I shouldn't have counted on it being easily found at the start of the year right after publishing. I was fortunate with other articles, but this one's just going to take a while I suppose.

(Regarding the second part of your comment, yeah it's a very expansive and long-running scene over there, albeit one that was mostly isolated for decades, so not many bands got international recognition.)

It was only published on 12th March, so it's still early. I can see a couple of your other articles in SERPs.

As far as the actual article contents go... there are a few extra-long run-on sentences there. Perhaps you could see if you can split them up?

Oh, the actual article came out on January 2nd, I merely fixed a small segment on the 12th of March.

I'll act on the suggestion in the second half of your comment at some point, thank you.

Google is giving a date of 4th March. Sometimes that's when they indexed it and other times it's when it was updated.
