Happy weekend! Today as I composed a reply, or two, I found that I couldn't edit the post. Is there a glitch yet again?

The weekend of Sept 3, 4, & 5 was a holiday weekend here in the US.  It's the last holiday weekend before school begins for most of us, so many families were travelling.  I also suspect that the team at HubPages were off for the weekend.

Thank you. The holiday seasons younder there in the  USA corresponds to school holidays here, in  Nigeria.

Miebakagh, I was unable to edit or publish a post for about an hour earlier today. I received a message t report it in the forums. All is okay now, however.

John, yes...yesterday early morning.                                    Since I post the thread, seems everyone is over sleeping and rising...is over sleeping and rising...lol!                                     But the glitch is getting nearly resolve, not yet done.                                            Have a lovely day.

Are you talking about editing forum posts?

Cuz I think there is a limited "window" of time in which you can do that... after so many hours, the ability to edit it goes away.

Yes, there's something like that happening. I don't know if that was always the case.

I had a similar problem to Miebakagh, which took me by surprise. It was on a fairly current discussion, not on some ancient one.

Maybe they've tightened up the time restriction for editing, I don't know.

Yes, 'editng forum posts' is implied. Though the window opens for between 5-10 minutes. But the issue is technical.                                        Here if you click 'more', then 'edit', reloading the page gives the same result...you'll find that all the composed demons disappear! Ha ha ha! Eh eh eh!

Nothing has changed. There is a limited amount of time to edit a forum post once it has been posted.

Oh okay, the problem I was experiencing was with an article not a forum post. I was unable to save any edits to the article. It was only for an hour or so though as far as I know.

I don't know that it affect our articles likewise in edit mode. It'll be over at the weekend I think.
