Is the title text of the video available to Google, providing keywords for search? (In the case of a video that's been specially made for an article)
I'm not sure if this answers your question, but I have converted a few of my articles into YouTube videos. Then I placed those videos in my articles. The video's title text is searchable on Google, providing an additional method of getting organic views. Google owns YouTube, so they get indexed quite quickly.
I've only done a couple of these, but I plan on creating videos for my articles.
You can add them & have on YouTube.
I believe Google finds the titles.
Brenda, since you’re planning to create videos of your articles, I recently wrote an article explaining the process. You can find it in my profile list.
I tried to put a video on one of my gardening articles, but it wasn't allowed. It required only YouTube videos. Has that changed? I certainly hope so.
Maria, You need to specify a YouTube or Vimeo URL in the video capsule. That has never changed.
At one time, several years ago we had video capsules. Or was it video hubs?
Yeah, I remember that Eugene. I believe they dropped it because it was taking up too much bandwidth from the server. Google has multiple servers gloabally to render YouTube videos.
I would turn the question around and say: Why wouldn't the title text count for keywords?
