You have no featured articles so the only "traffic" will come from you looking at your own articles.

As an "experienced software engineer," you'd think that he'd notice something like that, but apparently not.

I noticed that in a different post you said that you had featured an article. "Featured" has a special meaning at HubPages. It means an article has been approved and is ready for people to read. It may be that you haven't waited long enough for your article to be featured. Waiting a bit longer may enable it to be visible.

If HubPages decides not to feature your article, you should receive an email about it. The email will contain a link that allows you to post the article on the forum and ask for help. You need to follow the instructions in the email or people on this site won't be able to see the unfeatured article.

I seem to remember that he did have at least one article featured at one point unless my memory is faulty. I don't know what happened. Maybe HP didn't like his articles for some reason...

If views are pouring in then they will change. Otherwise not.

You can revise it thoroughly and add more data and details which means you improve it and then it would be featured.
Once, I made 4-5 improvements in one of my articles and then only it got featured. It took almost 6 months for those 4-5 revisions.
The mantra is - improve and keep trying.

Articles don't get indexed by search engines if they aren't featured.
