    Hi Hubbers,

I find it quite ironic that I'm turning to a forum for help, especially considering it's about the very article I'm seeking assistance with. I would greatly appreciate your feedback on an article I published on 06/13/23. How can I improve it? Despite having it proofread twice and thoroughly checked multiple times myself, it's puzzling that it's not getting picked up by any search engines, unlike my other hubs. The content is original and unique, yet I'm feeling frustrated as I attempt to identify what might be wrong or missing.

Your assistance would be highly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Tony, aka Compu-smart.

My best guess is that this is not a topic that people are searching for on Google.  You need to choose topics that are of interest to people other than yourself.

      Hi Tony!
The publish date on your article shows July 1st. It can take a couple of weeks before Google indexes it, so hold tight.
I suggest that you credit your pictures. I'm not seeing the picture you have for: Jennifer Lawrence & Chris Pratt Roast Each Other. I would get rid of a lot of the bold print you have, especially in your List of Contents. Hope this helps.

        Thank you, Janis.

I have done everything you suggested. Also, the Jennifer Lawrence content is in video format, not an image. Also, It "was" published on June 13, which I thought would be long enough. However, I'm unsure if Google and other search engines might consider my article unethical, such as 'white lies' or deliberately playing pranks on people, and whether they will support or index it?

Aside from that, I don't know what else to do!

I agree with OldRoses. WriterJanis has raised some good points as well. It may be a bit early to say this, but if you follow the suggestions of WriterJanis and the article is still not switched to a niche site, that could be an indication that the article needs to be changed in a major way.

Thank you Alicia,  but a "Major way", is deleting the article. Which I think is wasteful as I (I'd ike to think) I am offering some useful, unique content that has benefited me in my life, and continues to do so.

The grammar,  spelling, and all the other adjectives related to words is fine (I'm almost sure).

So aside from what I replied to Janis, I have no idea what else is at fault....as yet. Because I doubt the few bolded words and the image crediting was thee problem!

I think patience is needed after you have corrected a few errors. The article may still be switched to a niche site, or someone may share it when they read it on Discover.

The “white lies” aspect of the article might be a problem in some places. The idea of looking for the response in the spectators implies–rightly or wrongly–that you are tricking and testing them.

Hmm, unfortunately, most, if not all of the article is about telling white lies. But we all use white lies in our everyday life, even when we reply 'good thanks' in response to someone asking how we are, when we're not good!

I'll be more patient, and see how things progress. And, then I'll submit it to one of hubpages network site, to get some feedback.
Big THANKS again for helping out.
