    Hello everyone!

As you may have noticed, we recently rolled out a new "Ask an Expert" feature on a few of our sites. Readers submit questions related to the content on our sites, and seasoned professionals and industry experts write brief articles in response.

This feature is available on TatRing, Bellatory, PetHelpful, Delishably, AxleAddict, Dengarden, ReelRundown, ToughNickel, WanderWisdom, Spinditty, WeHaveKids, PairedLife, TurboFuture, HowTheyPlay, Owlcation, and SkyAboveUs.

We encourage you to reach out to editors@hubpages.com with detailed information about your background and qualifications if you are interested in participating as an expert for our "Ask an Expert" feature. If approved, we will reach out to you with more information about participating.

Please email us if you have questions.

    Thank you,
    Angel

This sounds very good, I am definitely keen to be added to the roster of experts. Are there any monetisation opportunities linked to answering questions from the public? Thanks.

Will the names, experience and qualifications of the experts be highlighted so that they can possibly be used to improve EEAT and ranking of sites? Currently, their profile is the standard one, so there's nothing to distinguish them from the rest of us. However we still don't know whether Google can even establish authority of a site or person who writes on a site because obviously a fake profile, complete with fake experience and qualifications can be generated.

I'm enthusiastic about this. I'm also a very cynical person. Will this be cheeky way for staff/editors to tell us what to write about? Sorry, I had to ask.

Sounds interesting. But many quetions like the ones from above writers needs addressing.                                    This is not the time to 'Rojo' again.

I've been told that short answers that don't warrant being turned into an article, will be in the form of an email to the person who asked the question, possibly including a link to a reference source (Home Depot for my test question). Isn't this a lost opportunity? Couldn't the answers be presented in a forum format on the sites? Then readers could browse through questions and answers with recommended articles highlighted in the answers. Also if a question already has an answer in the form of an existing article, will the experts write a duplicate article, or will they reference the existing article in their new article?

You can avoid this problem by making your answer more complete, at least 500 words.

That sounds a lot like Quora.

It presumable would have to be a separate site, that's why Rojo is on a separate domain. I still don't understand why the network site HTML code can't be altered to any great degree. Is it an off the shelf template, there isn't the expertise, there would be too much work involved or some other reason?
