Amazon earnings are lumped in with the Ads program earnings, so $50 in the calendar month before the 28th of the following month when you get paid. You'll find more info in the FAQs.

Edit: Articles on hubpages.com aren't eligible for earnings. You need to improve them so they get moved to Discover or a network site.

Thank you. I just wondered because I looked in earning and hadn't been writing here for years and balance is up to $40 over last 12 months. I didn't know I was still earning with Amazon as had turned earning off with ads

So HubPages is now a conglomeration of many sites.

Once articles pass the Quality Assessment Process, they move from hubpages.com to https://discover.hubpages.com

They can earn from the ads program and Amazon. But they will earn more if they are moved on to the network sites. Go to: https://hubpages.com/feed then scroll down and you'll see all the sites listed in weird green fonts on the right..

The old HubPages.com site is now a cache of articles that either need improvement or deletion.

You can check which site your articles are on by clicking on 'Filters' under the word 'Statistics' on your stats page: https://hubpages.com/my/hubs/stats

Thank you so much for that .gee everything has changed so much since I started writing here.
I don't really understand the featured articles as heaps of my featured don't get any traffic.. thank you I will check that out

Having an article featured doesn't mean that HubPages will drive traffic to it. The biggest driver of traffic is Google (and other search engines). Therefore it's up to the writer to make sure that articles will appear in search engine results. In other words, people have to be looking for the information you provide.

It's worth spending time reading the material in the Learning Center, click Help top right, to navigate there. Also, read through the FAQs, same place.

Being featured means it is eligible for search engine traffic. Unfeatured articles are 'invisible'.
