I write a lot of programming hubs and the code capsule does not allow me to have an empty line. An empty line is nice to keep code readable. Also, it just looks bad not having an empty line in places where it is customary per the programming language community.
In the example photo, it's customary to have a blank line after your last require line.
I included this in the code capsule but it gets eaten on save.
This has nothing to do with the community forum. It's a specialized topic. Why not post this under technical help?
I tried using a CR and it includes a blank line. I wonder what I'm doing different?
Do we show the HTML codes to the public on our published posts? I don't understand what is it all about.
This is a feature for Hubbers who write hubs about programming.
Thanks for the information. Just now I went through your latest article and understood the purpose of these code capsules.
I am aware that the websites use HTML language for building and running them smoothly. This is because, I log in to the HTML page on blogger platform to input a code provided by them.

Hello,I am having trouble with the "embeded code" and things like that on the poll and other capsule. I know how to create them and all that, but they don't turn out right in the end. I've read a ton of posts on the subject and gone thru step-by-step in the Learning Center about 10 times....

Have you considered adding a capsule for displaying html, php, and other types of programming code?An example of this can be found on vBulletin sites, which usually have a [code] block and a [php] block. This doesn't actually render the html or php, but does provide a little more control over...

We just released another update to the site a few minutes ago. The big changes are the addition of the code capsule, a redesign of the my account pages, and some small adjustments to Q&A (now called Answers on the menu). The code capsule isn't for constructing your hubs using HTML and...

Tis a good thing, but can get out of proportion. On my PC Tuneup Hub the comments now take up 2/3 of the page load. I'm not complaining because I love the feedback. The latest comment from compu-smart is huge. I didn't want to filter it out, but he could have made a hubpage out of it!I've seen...

I have been trying without success to get those specific products or even Amazon banners posted into some of my hubs. They say to highlight the code (which I do) and then paste it into the website. I have tried doing it in the code section, Amazon section and also tried it in the RSS...

I'm trying to figure out how to paste the code from the Amazon products. I haven't figured it out yet. I go into my Amazon associate account and have copied the html code or highlighted the picture and it's info. I can tell I am not doing it right. When I paste them in my hubs, I...
