For articles previously on Dengarden…

I’m in such a dilemma. I’d like to submit some of my previous Dengarden hubs to Network Sites.

However, finding a good fit for each is a problem I’m facing at the moment.

And the one article submission per fortnight STILL stands, apparently. It’ll take forever to move them one at a time, not counting when they are (politely) rejected.

    I’m so tired!

    Any suggestions are welcome.

Eugene sent a handful to Matt, who approved them all, and he moved to a Network site. A week ago, I submitted a former Spindity article to Owlcation, and it moved over to the network site last night. About a month ago, I did the same with another article, which moved over. Another was a crapshoot, which didn't pass to the Network sites.

        Thank you Kenna.

I was hoping for a similar request/move for a few of my articles as well. However, I got an email from team, telling me it’s still ONLY one hub move per 14 days.

Only one was approved for a move to Owlcation, the other from a different account, was not.

          You're welcome, Viryabo.

Well, you tried. I used to keep track of two weeks like clockwork, or HP made the move for me. But now I submit old ones when I have time, or HP moves them.

Yes, HP is currently in the twilight zone when it comes to network site submissions and editing. Seems there's only Matt Wells covering all issues and protocols. All I can advise is, persist with your emails to the team (MW) if you've any willpower remaining! Who knows you might get some action, it being the season of goodwill and all that.

I've had a HubPro edit pending for months now, if not a year? I know the likelihood of an edit is remote but I'm not pulling me hair out just yet.

All we can hope for is a minor miracle in 2025 - Matt Wells being given sole ownership of the HP name for example - which would be great and fully deserved....after all we've been paying his wages for years!!

Don't expect too much from moving articles to Owlcation. I've moved a few that were previously on Soapboxie but there has been no upward spike in views as a result.

Yes, that's what I was thinking when I read this thread. I don't believe that there's any advantage in getting articles moved.

The situation has changed. Everything does badly now.

It feels like everything, but a few are not complaining. That is the sad part: only a few out of how many hundreds?

Only a few are complaining. Most hubbers lost interest in the site a long time ago.

It's difficult to compare anecdotal accounts when it comes to views, rankings, and earnings, which is why I generally treat them with some skepticism.

People have different standards on what they see as "success," not everyone is good at interpreting statistics, and unfortunately, there are a few people who are just plain dishonest.

I'm not saying that some form of limited success is impossible but I suspect it's much rarer than you think, if indeed it exists at all.

Yes, it is what you suspect. As I have said on other threads, HP is worse, deteriorating by far and someday, all gloom and doom posts will not exist because HP will not exist. As I have also said, everything appears terrible, but I am sure a few are still benefiting. Also, some writers are lucky enough to harness Pethelpful and DenGarden.

There is really no hope, nor any point then, I guess.

What I don’t know why, is how some hubbers can have a bunch of articles moved at one time, while others still have to go the 2-per fortnight route.
        Not particularly fair.

Thank you Rupert. I was of the impression that being on network sites may be a tad better than Discover.
I really need to get used to the harsh fact that network sites or not, this site is in its dying days.
      So sad.
