It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Apollonius the Budgie.
Yesterday, its owner gave it a few crumbs from a matzo ball. The budgie gave a pitiful squawk of what sounded like "Oy Veh," fell off its perch, and hit the bottom of its cage with a small thud.
In lieu of millet sprigs kindly make a donation to freethebudgies, org.
Wow, I was really sorry to hear this. Further investigation will probably reveal that the matzo ball was made with rutabaga.
That is indeed terrible news, Rupert. He was a bright and colorful chap, even if his verbal outpourings were often obscure.
I hear that a day of mourning has been declared in certain regions of Africa, where he was revered as a great philosopher.
May he be given a safe perch in the next world, for he will be gone but not forgotten!
Apollonius will be long remembered by those who knew him. Fly freely, budgie, in the Great Beyond!

Hi all,So yesterday I had a really high value click on one of my hubs, so I went into Analytics to investigate. Obviously having one or two "sexy" hubs I'm used to seeing "hmmm" types of keywords (more disturbing than those "indian aunty" type of phrases). But yesterday...

My nephew was murdered yesterday but there seem to be a bit of a mystery surrounding his death. The news largely repeat the same story like this http://news.stv.tv/scotland/195988-aber … boyfriend/ but read the comment at the bottom. Plus John's Facebook page said he was engaged to a girl in...

I was just finishing up writing a hub and noticed that there is no option to add the news capsule anymore? My other hubs still have them and I just posted a hub yesterday... so is this a glitch, is it just down for the day or are they dropping it?It actually helped people to have those in there......
