The above are the mistakes I have found within your text written.
Not to mention, you inability to use "." or "," or ";" for example is what I think WriteAngled was talking about.
There isn't a need for your rude remarks to others. It is obvious to me(41 year old American citizens), fluent in American English, that your attitude on your hub, isn't one of knowledge or of true understanding of how to relay information to others.
You apparently do not have the ability to teach others, but think you do. Again, it's obvious from your writing.
If you're unable to handle criticism, then don't ask for it.
Hopefully, you understand. You don't know the knowledge of others and comparing yourself to other and acting like you are ABOVE them, isn't going to get you anywhere.
Have a great day!
Just because my English is not accepted by the community does not mean I'm dumb and can not teach people. If you are going to ignore all the information on the internet that is written in "poor" English. Your search queries will probably return less results, like billions less.
Yes, but were that the case, my search results would return the quality information I am seeking instead of screen after screen full of garbage.
With the level of expertise you are claiming, you cannot afford to have so many little errors. Thorough proofreading is needed.
Yes, proofreading would be highly suggested.
Also, you hub seems cluttered with paragraphs. Plus it seems like you might have too many keywords. I've always been told 9-15 and more than 20 can be harmful.
On top of that- when you present your bullet items NOT all of the start out with "C"apital letters. Some begin with lowercase letters and some like suppose to do.
Just a thought.
You also need to work on your grammar. Nobody is going to believe you if you write like a ten-year old.
lol, I'm actually 19 and english is my third language, do you know more than 3 language's? dont think so
I translate hospital reports, clinical trial documentation and medical journal articles out of Polish, Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Slovenian, French, Spanish and German into English.
I have been making a decent living from doing this as a freelance for just over six years now. I turn down about twice as many job offers as I am able to accept.
Honestly, if you are going to try to tackle English (which is one of the most difficult languages to master) then you really need to step it up. For starters, I would never use the word 'got'...NEVER...unless I was quoting somebody or trying to provide humor.
You also have a lot of fragment sentences, meaning, the sentence is half written without a complete idea. For example, you start off sentences using the words that, especially, and which. All of these words are usually transition words within a sentence and join two ideas together.
Here's an example from your article:
"That's how webhost-choice.com looks today."
Now, what are you referring to here?...the photo above?...Although the reader can probably figure out what you are saying, it's not a precise sentence. It's poorly written and your article is full of such examples.
Another area where you need to work on is spelling. Right off the bat, I see 3 or 4 misspellings within your article. You can easily fix this problem by using "copy and paste". Copy all the material within your article and paste it to Microsoft Word (if you are using Windows). Next, correct the misspellings and paste the corrections back into the article...simple.
I hope this helps!
but anyways if you can point out where I used bad grammar, i'd be happy to adjust
I found your initial choice of wording insensitive, even though I agree with the underlying message. The OP had a defensive reaction, and see what followed. You could learn to be more diplomatic, in my opinion. This is a place for helping one another, not a place for showing off and the like.
How does one say "your grammar is appalling" and "you do not master English sufficiently to write readable hubs" in other words? The OP asked for honest comments and got them. I was not the only one who thought his hubs needed vast improvement. This is supposed to be a thread for honest opinions.
As for what followed, I couldn't give a toss. If he continues to respond to me in the same vein, I will report him.
With respect to showing off, I merely responded to an infantile comment and challenge made by someone who assumes most native speakers of English have no command of another language. The OP was severely misguided to direct that comment at a professional translator and got back as good as he gave.
Anyway, what gives you the right to pontificate about the issue apart from your self-assumed ID?
"write like a ten-year old" was not a nice thing of you to say, in my opinion, nor was it necessary. If you cannot understand this, there is not much more that can be done.
When somebody has the skills of an infant in a given language, the kindest thing is to inform them of the matter. I would not survive a day in my profession if I claimed knowledge of a language I did not master.
Do you honestly think visitors to this site will read through more than a couple sentences of poorly crafted junk?
I repeat, by what authority do you make your pronouncements, "Website Examiner"?
I am simply stating a fact in response to a challenge, namely "do you know more than 3 language's? dont think so" You can check my profile here and also my company web site by googling Tehuti Knowledge Services if you wish to verify my statement. This is not a self-promotion attempt. My work is done exclusively through agencies for a variety of reasons.
don't be bitching about my english cause I know it's fine.
KURWA
It is "English" actually, but you are on the right track. This is called the Extreme Hub Makeover for a reason, please don't take it personally. Do not retaliate, just move on please.
Ahhh, you're upset because I have more than three languages at my command, which nullifies the snide little comment you made to me initially.
The word you're thinking of is kurva, actually, with a V not a W. For the edification of anyone else, it means whore in Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian. I could report you for calling me this if I pleased, but it really is not worth the effort.
Your command of English is passable for a non-native speaker, but not really good enough to persuade English speakers make the effort to read through to the end.
As the Americans say, have a good day....
OK, kurwa is the Polish variant. I'm not so up on adult Polish expressions, since I didn't ever have to use them.
Nevertheless, it shows your infantile reaction to a post which demolished your pretence of superiority.
Before you start to develop your language skills, you might think about growing up.
No, not Russian, or Czech, or Slovak, or Ukrainian, or Macedonian, or Bulgarian. I know my limits
You asked for help. So many spelling and grammatical errors make you look unprofessional. It is great that you know three languages, but part of learning another language includes that you CONTINUE learning. And, I have counted at least three people who think you are making far too many errors. I just looked at your hub and I have to agree. Instead of getting defensive, take their advice and IMPROVE your hub. After all, you DID ask for an "Extreme Hub Makeover" and the section itself posts a small warning about not taking ridicule very well.
BTW, I do offer constructive criticism when it is merited. However, I believe people need some very basic writing skills before jumping into the HP water.
To be fair WriteAngled is in the right here and he should definitely not have called her a whore. He should realise that he could be reported for this and is lucky to get away with it.
As for the hub maybe you should scrap it and carry on practicing until your English has improved.
best of luck
I am far from perfect but would agree that you should proofread your hub, make corrections. Begin with the Title they should always be placed in upper, lower case.
Ex: The Hosting Affiliate Project, this looks more professional.
You also use " I" often when you could be using " We". Please do not be offended by what others are telling you, simply use it as a tool to improve your hub.
You initial post seems to have gone, so I looked at your hubs and have to agree with the majority of posts here.
Also I notice one of your hubs is about file sharing, and the word warez is clearly visible over a video file. You might like to reconsider having that in the hub as that type of file sharing is illegal.
So my English is not good at all, I make myself look like a fool with no knowledge at all?
thanks anyway
Is it not self promoting he did starting this topic and posting his own link anyway? thats a no no!

I speak English, or at least what passes for "native" English in my country. But I'm just too lazy to learn how to write an article in "proper" English. I know you Americans are a bunch of bleeding-heart liberals who want to help the downtrodden of the world so would a few of...

I have a hub that was not featured due to problems with quality. How do we know what the quality issue is? I read the rating chart and didn't seem to find anything wrong with the hub in question.
