Problems with "Scroll to Continue" divider.

I have hesitated to ask this question in the Forum Discussion, but there is a problem regarding Discover's Scroll to Continue articles I can no longer ignore.   I’ve received more than one email from readers asking why my creative content is divided by a Scroll to Continue section with articles about sex, dirty questions to ask while in bed, and nudity in such a gauche manner.  It’s become rather embarrassing of late as I do not write any related content.  Apparently, one of my publications had three of them all in one Scroll to Continue divider.  What kind of message is that sending? And has anyone else experienced this?

I scrolled through my top-producing article and saw a lot of gross, unrelated ads/articles, but none with a sexual spin. I did not see "scroll to continue" either.

"Scroll to continue" is a thin grey bar above the 3 recommended articles. Instead of saying "recommended", "related" or whatever the old title was, it now simply says scroll to continue.

Hear that? Nothing, it's a ghost town. TAG/HP doesn't care.

They never cared. Complaints about article promotion have been around for as long as HP.

They cannot be bothered to correct misinformation. Are we surprised they do not care about page layout? I'd be shocked if Matt even comments on this post.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. It's truly disconcerting.

Bev, regarding the comment you made on that thread, that is the very same sex article which, from what I understand, is often in the Scroll to Continue articles section in my creative content publications.

This did not occur when my content was formerly on the LetterPile niche site before it was all moved to Discover as a result of the Arena Group changes.

I do see the Scroll to Continue divider on all of my articles with lots of ads. But I didn't notice any vulgar or nude content on them. Though I am not quite sure.

I saw one on Rupert's article the other day. I try to avoid looking at mine in their published form - it's terrifying

Tamarajo made a post about a month ago regarding the same thing on her religious articles. These kinds of articles have always been heavily promoted on HP & Discover. We didn't see it on the niche sites, because they typically were not there.

I've seen dozens of articles in the same realm across all the categories. Unfortunately, I do not expect them to change the algorithm any time soon.

I agree.  I'm started to check through all of mine as well, and so far, four of them have popped up.

I meant to add that the "Scroll to Continue" article sections either divide my content, appear at the end of the publication, or in the Comments section where my followers and I previously had posted comments.

The 3 articles are different every time an article is loaded or refreshed.

Yes, but it depends on what it changes to, especially when there are multiple publications of the same articles.

The emails I received from readers about this were spot on.  I checked 40 of my 44 current publications over the past couple of days.  I was embarrassed to learn that these multiples appear no less than on 33 occasions.  And at times, 2-3 in the same Scroll to Continue segment.

I won’t give the exact title names, but they include:  The best locations to have sex; dirty questions to ask that turn others on; examples of sexting that turn others on; nudity in film; hot women; what men want women to do in bed, guides to making out; and so forth.

This doesn’t include other articles about sensual love songs, sexy nicknames, etc.  It’s ridiculous.

Oh I agree. I simply meant even if one of the three didn't appear to have a sexual/relationship type article doesn't mean someone else wasn't seeing it.

At least one article if not two or three are sexually suggestive more often than not. If I had to guess I'd say at least 95% of the time I see them.

I know, thank you.  I agree, too.  A number of my poems have 2-3 of these articles noted in each of the "Scroll to Continue" segments in Comments section. Weird. No wonder I receved those emails from readers.
