Let's see if Matt removes this post since I didn't use the P-word. The lewd guy is officially gone.
That's not how it works. I do recommend working on your spelling.
And write/post something, otherwise there's no reason to follow you!
Why did you choose this thread to introduce yourself?
An odd choice.
But the bare-chested dude offering "Elite male escort services" appears to be still on HubPages.
How much lower can we sink? And, I hope HP doesn't see that as a challenge.
The escort bloke has been booted out. Pity they can't act as swiftly unfreezing stats.
If you highlight a dodgy profile, staff'll delete it.
However, as hp.com and its subdomain Discover only have automated filtering, there are many times more dodgy profiles.
Automated filtering is always crude and misses stuff that a human would spot easily.
Things aren't getting any worse, though, as far as I can see. It was always bad in hp.com/Discover. I think you're just noticing them.
Trying to clean up is pretty futile as new crap is appearing all the time.
That was the whole point of having the niches, which were human-curated.

Is it illegal for me to wear a t-shirt with obscene language on it in public?
by Mary Hyatt 13 years ago
I was over in "Hopping Some Hubs" which I like to do when I have some time. I voted one down because I thought it obscene. Not only the Hub was obscene, but the photos on it were too. I probably should have let it go at that, but I commented on the Hub itself that I thought it...

I turned this in to the "help" section, but someone has left an obscene comment which I left unapproved or denied. Has anyone else had this happen and if so, is there a separate email address I should have written to?

To the HubPages staff, I have received ugly and obscene comments emailed to me via HubPagesby a new hubber. To report them to HubPages do I need to do more than click on the abuse link at the bottom of the emails?

How can I find out why my request was removed? It was not obscene, illegal, inflammatory, etc. as far as I can imagine. Is there any way I can find out why it was removed?
