Anyone else notice a sudden boost in earnings? Is this a glitch or is HubPages coming back?
Nope. No sudden boost. Not even a slow one. Earnings aren't even worth mentioning.
Yes, earnings are up 80% this last week. I don't expect that to last. I don't know why they bothered; I would not get your hopes up.
Maybe to deter us from leaving?
Earnings aren't coming back. I'm confident about that because they've told us they no longer believe in the HP model and have got rid of virtually all staff. They don't care if you stay or leave.
Yes. My earnings are up 80% (shrug). There is no way to determine why, as HP no longer allows us to view our stats
Not much different from my end. The usual drip! A cent (or thereabouts) at a time!
I’m beginning to think they just add whatever they feel like adding to daily earnings, themselves.
I wholeheartedly believe this! I also think that's why they aren't fixing the stats count. Because then we'd know how much we're being robbed. Why are they going out so sad when they've done a lot for writers all these years?
If I'm lucky, I might reach 0.50 cents this month.
So the answer is: no boost in my earnings.

My earnings are now at 2011 levels. I have read all the commentary, but is there any enthusiasm to starting a new business for our articles? The reality is that many of us are capable of tracking seo trends, etc ad nauseum. I would be willing to give time. Would our combined articles support a blog...

I wasn't sure where to post this, so anyway... Before I started writing here, I was choosing whether to go with a site that pays per views (i.e. Triond, ExpertsColumn) or per ad click (HubPages). Before starting to write on HP, I wrote 18 articles on Triond, then I went full-fledge with HP because...

Suppose you have entered a website which says it pays you money. You believe them and create an account. Gradually, you sense that you were told lies. There is no money on that website, but it's a hobbyist venue. After you know the truth, will you quit that...
