I guess this is finally the end. All I care about at this point is that I get my final payment(s) at some point in the near future.
My guess from the way the announcements are worded is we’ll lose access to our accounts this weekend and the forums will be disabled. I think HubPages, however, will continue to exist. The more relevant ads on articles suggest it will stick around for a time—an extra 2 weeks? Two years? Who knows. The announcement says something along the lines of you can leave your articles up for people to read but you won’t earn from them anymore.
One strange thing is if you look around in the forums there was an update that helps clarify which party is responding to which person with text boxes. Kind of strange at this time.
"Hubpages" ceased to exist some time ago, I believe. The logo can still be found on some old pages like at the the top of forums page but it's not used publicly.
The website Hubpages.com ceased to take new admissions and will be closed down soon, if it hasn't happened already.
The topic websites still look like they will continue, but they no longer have anything to do with hubbers. That happened when they moved us all out to Discover.
I see HP as gone. I was meaning more that the accounts and forum disappear. Then all the chatter goes and we just sit in the dark and wait for some money to (hopefully) appear in PayPal.
I see. Thank you for clarifying. I’m concerned about it sitting after we all get kicked out officially and the implications that might exist there. It’s possible they’re kicking us out and then will do some other move, kind of like with the new standalone endeavors… my trust is low.
It doesn't really matter. We won't be involved.
They already took what they wanted. They reworded the best hubs using AI and some human editing for their own use, so they could be published on their [now hubber-free] topic sites.
It's all over bar the fat lady singing. Which for me means getting the final payment.
There's nothing else to be concerned about that I can see. They've taken what they wanted over the last year or whatever.

I heard that Black Friday is huge in the states. Does that explain why you could have shot a cannon through here throughout the weekend? Or was it something else? Revenues sucked bigtime for the last two reported days.

On Sunday I have $0 for hub earnings. I generally get $1-$3 a day. All my other days have money. I am concerned that some accounting was messed up as that really looks like an anomaly to me. There are no * stating that Sunday is still pending. Where do I go to check on...

Any one who experiences rise in traffic over the weekend? Most of the times, hubbers experience a relatively low traffic over the weekend. Are you an exception, meaning that your traffic goes up?

What day of the week does traffic to your hubs drop?I watch my traffic daily, multiple times a day. I always notice my traffic drop starting Friday, then pick back up on Monday. I always thought it would climb over the weekend. Is it the same for you? Or do you see certain...
