Hubpage will not take my affiliate link from Amazon, using the HTML. How do I resolve this?
Hubpages won't let you use html. You need to open your hub in edit mode and select an Amazon capsule, then add the URL or the IBSN number of the article you want to promote manually. Then click OK and your selected item(s) should be displayed.
When picking a product from Amazon to paste into Amazon capsule on HP, use the *Text* link which auto configures to ISBN code and shows up on your site. Hope that helps. Welcome to HubPages
Short answer - use a capsule
long answer - you certainly can use the html from amazon or any other source as a link - you can use the anchor text you just cant use the image src.
take the link that follows a href and insert into any text or link capsule using the chain icon or html editor function

Not that I was making any money from them, but why has my directly related Amazon product link been snipped in the hub-pro edit ?I could understand snipped competitor products, but what is the point of having ebay / amazon capsules if they are being removed from the niche sites?

I don't know what is going on with my articles lately, but every time they edit them, my amazon capsules are removed. Once they remove the amazon products, they publish it and feature it. I don't understand why this is happening to my articles. If they are going to remove the amazon capsules, then...
