Both are good for different reasons. If I only had one, I would choose feed.
Hopper is good for finding new people, whom I might overlook-- and for helping the staff sort out the spam, etc.
i vote feed, there are a lot of people here, the "hop" helps separate the "wheat from the chaff" but my feed is already filled with plenty of "wheat" ..enough to keep me busy, entertained and informed
i like the feed, the hub hopper can be fun though, after i get through about 5 articles on printers
I love the feed, keeps me informed and it's fun to see what others are doing.

Hub Hopper has been replaced with EC voting form on feed page. Is this permanent? I know a lot of hubbers weren't using it. Although I used it regularly, can't say I'll miss it. But it was kind of cool to help out.

(1) When we flag a hub the hub should become hidden from our screen. I don't think it makes sense voting since you already flag the hub. So that means when we flag the hub another hub will replace it. I flagged a hub and didn't wish to leave feedback for it and the only option was to exit and go...
