I read it and I loved it! Welcome to hubpages and no complaints here , keep on writing.
I enjoyed reading your Hub. You had me laughing. You are a card. You'll do fine on HubPages.
P.S. I think you should put the pink flamingo back though Missy. lol.
You seem to have a good start on creating hubs. Congrats.
However, I would like to let you know a little bit more about the hubs you create.... on the side of the hub, there are keywords/tags, which you set up, when you created it.
To help with SEO, I would suggest adding some more keywords/tags to the list of keywords you already have. The average is about 9-15 keywords/tags.
If it helps...open "start a new hub" and click on the bottom area where the keywords/tags section is...when you do....there will be a gray box appear along side...make sure you read it.
Other than that...you're good to go. Welcome to HubPages.
The news cap is just what it says it is. It puts a capsule with news headlines related to your hub on your hub.

I've been on HubPages for over a year now. I have written 253 hubs (I deleted some) and just recently passed the 100,000 views mark. I think I should have more views by now considering the number of hubs and the amount of time I spend here. I know it is more about quality than quantity,...

My daily earnings have dropped drastically -- WHY? Is it because HP has pulled ads on my hubs due to the "unfeatured" hubs, which are mostly poems? Are poems not worthy of being featured and getting daily earnings? And WHY does HP decide what should or should not be featured?...
