I took a look and I think you should post the intro section on your profile page and then let the 2012 be the topic of your first hub. Hubs are not blogs. they are more like stand alone articles you would write for a magazine.
Your topic is a lively one right now which is good but you may want to consider more relevant photos or a video.
Breaking up the article with more text capsule would help to make it easier to read.
Also there is a forum called extreme hub make over for this type of request?
