Hi all, I am new to Hubpages and have been enjoying the experience so far. I love to write, and as I make my bed in the morning or even prepare dinner at night, topics for hubs come to mind. As I've gotten more into this world, I realize I have some questions. The first one is, What is the etiquette behind "following" someone? If I become someone's "follower," is it acceptable for them NOT to reciprocate? I'd love to know the answer. Thanks in advance!
Yes. following someone only because they followed you seems deceitful. like telling someone who wants feedback they did good when they didn't its just misleading.
Okay, I feel like a goof. I obviously did not scroll down far enough to see the three-day old thread that was already discussing my exact question. Eek!! My apologies, everyone. And why does this seem to happen to me so much?

When I first started on Hubpages, there seemed to be more reciprocation. In other words, if I read and commented on someone's hub, they'd do the same on one of mine. But now that doesn't seem to be the case. Has anyone else noticed the same?

In a thread a few days ago, a discussion began about accounts which have been here quite some time and have a lot of published hubs that are noticeably breaking Hubpages ToS. Despite the accounts being flagged repeatedly, the accounts and most of their hubs still remain. The staff answer to the...

I pretty much thought that this went out of fashon about 6 or 7 years ago. However over the last week, I have seen several people operate on the basis that if they add you, then you must add them. Someone has just also written that in their profile - that s/he will add whoever adds him/her.So...

On the home page, there are clips of the interviews and how much hubbers are making on the website.I vote we revamp this, as the likelihood that these hubbers are still making this is slim.I submitted one of these interviews, when I was making up to $2500 with all programs (pre-hubpages ads), and...
