Pardon my ignorance, but I'm curious what the difference is between following someone, and subscribing to their feed. If I'm already getting notifications when they publish, is there some added benefit to subscribing to a feed?
YOu can use a feed in a feed reader such as that by google, you can also place a feed on different websites, or let other sites link to your new articles automatically.
Feed are also available to everyone, where as following is an internal hubpages thing!
