I bought some dvds that came from france at a flea market and they wont work in my dvd or in any other dvd machines. does anyone know why and what i can do to make them work??? thanks in advance
I think the problem is the region code is wrong for your DVD player. This website here explains how they work pretty well: http://www.ilovedvd.co.nz/regioncodes.asp But to be simple - European DVD's won't work in an American/Canadian DVD player.
Yeah, they are different region dvds. You need multi-region player to play them. Alternatively you can change the region of your computer dvd, but there is a limit to how many times you can do it...

I upgraded my computer from Vista to Win7. No matter which DVD player I use included Media...Center the sound plays but the picture is solid white. How do I fix this?
