How would one go about getting paid for his writing through Hub?
At HubPages, you choose which affiliate programs to sign up for (Google AdSense, EBay, Amazon, and Kontera), and then they pay you individually. Check out the Learning Center for more info, and instructions on how to apply for each.

First, you have to write some good hubs. Then get approved for Adsense. You can also sell items from Amazon on your hubs.
In addition to Adsense and Amazon, you can also promote other affiliate products like Clickbank. If you're using Clickbank, you can write an informational article on a specific topic, and at the end of the article, place a link to a related Clickbank product for more information.
If you're new, making money on Hubpages can be a slow process in the beginning. However, if you stick with it, the more you learn about promoting your articles and the more you write, the more you will make. Good luck!
