I was busy promoting a recently published hub using RSS. I noted quickly that in spite of using the correct feed that it actually led to the comments and not the actual hub. As some RSS Submission Sites will let you use the normal URL instead of of the RSS Url I thought I would use that instead. Exactly the same result! Tried on several sites.
Anybody having the same problem? Or is it actually a problem at all? It is certainly not normal. Advice, Suggestions, your Comments?
What you want to use is the RSS feed from your profile, which will show all your hubs. The RSS feed from your hub will indeed lead to the comments on that hub, as the actual content of a hub is relatively static and not feed-able, if that makes sense.
Thanks Maddie, It actually makes perfect sense. It was something I 'knew' before but had been pushed to a corner of my brain. Too much other stuff jumbled in there at the moment.

I had a comment on a hub and the name was in blue, assuming it was another hubber, I clicked on the name & was directed to HIS article on the same thing on Squidoo....beware, they may not all be hubbers! Pissed me off!

The box for Submit a Comment looks different, much smaller and square. I can write comments but it does not register, as soon as I press "post comment" the text dissapears. It is happening with every single hub I try since yesterday.Any ideas?

Now that the comment box has gone even from the original hubpage when you publish, maybe put a like or something on it so that people know when it has been read? It just seems so impersonal now. I want my friends back commenting! (sob dramatics! lol!) What do you think? Any other suggestions?

I've been getting more questions about certain articles in my personal email the last few months instead of readers leaving comments.I first thought they were legit but now suspect its part of a phishing expedition and I checked off on my profile to stop getting emails but they are still...

Suddenly this morning, none of my hubs show comments , related searches, thumbs up bar--essentially I see nothing but the hub itself. Is this just me or is their a technical problem?

I got a message to check my comments and was sent to my Tom Dooley hub and I cannot see any comments there although there should be some! How can this be my problem? I have nothing to do with whether comments are showing or not do I? It is suggested I might want to disable them until I can fix them....
