Hi Folks, hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Two questions 1) is there a way to check if the Google spiders have paid a visit to my hubs and 2) how can I check backlinks?
1. Search for your hub in Google. Use the "title of the hub" in quotes
I just had a "duh" moment when I read your reply, SunSeven. Google it... if it shows up then the spiders must of found it. I guess I was expecting something more complicated.
If you use a query like this it will give you a lot of info as far as Google is concerned.
Where it says: "Show Google's cache of example.com" it will tell you the last time, up top, Google indexed your hub.
Where it says: "Find web pages that link to example.com" Google will show the more important backlinks to a web page" (Yahoo's Site Explorer reveals many more links)
Or you could also use this query to go directly to Google's cached version of a web page.
