It was a sad day when eHow decided to close its door to new writers, and did away with publishing new articles directly to its site. I enjoyed writing for the site, and my earnings were not too shabby either. Currently, my articles earn me about $120 per month, and I was aiming to produce more content. Unfortunately, that will not happen. So sad!
However, I'm really digging HubPages. I've only written 3 articles so far, but I have plans to write many more. I've already creates outlines for 7 new articles related to business. I just have to do research, and then begin writing them. The folks here seem to be pretty cool. I hope I'm able to fit in well here like I did at eHow.
Please feel free to give whatever advice you like. I'm open to any suggestions that will assure my success here on HubPages.
welcome to HP! you will find it a great place to write and there are many very smart hubbers here to learn from. you will find the learning center link at the bottom of each page which is also helpful. the Need Help forum and Knowledge Exchange forum has some helpful threads.
the HP FAQ is also helpful. http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/4668
your hubs are looking great!
Thank you for the warm welcome. I've been here for 13 days now, and so far it seems to be a pretty cool place to hang my coat.

I got in on EHOW towards the very end just a few months before it imploded. I was making decent money right away----MUCH more than what I make per adsense per hubpages, etc. However, I disliked a number of other things about EHOW. When EHOW imploded there were a number of other things...

I just read on ehow that some people are earning more than 50$ a day with around 250 articles. Is anyone earning so much here? I mean, the work here is more in writing when compared to ehow.

If you don't already know you either have to sell your articles to ehow or remove them. I am removing mine! How long does it take for articles to not appear on Google after they have been removed? Can I move them here on hubpages right after I delete them from ehow or should I...

I used to have an eHow account, but when they closed the Writer's Compensation Program back in May/June, I removed my articles from the site and deleted my account.A couple days ago, I republished one of the articles here, and yesterday I got an email informing me that the hub had been unpublished...

Can anyone explain if there is a requirement or at least an incentive somewhere somehow that would force or cause Hubpages to keep being active in its current form for many many years to come? The reason I ask is that I went through writing a lot of articles and then promoting eHow (not just my...
