Paul Deeds mentioned that the Link Suggestion Tool favours your own Hubs first, then Hubs by people you follow.
I'm fine with it suggesting my own Hubs, but not so happy with the second part. I was trying to do some linking yesterday, and I discovered I could find far more appropriate Hubs by doing my own search, than by using the Tool!
I'm guessing that at the moment, the Tool searches Hubbers I'm following first, and picks out the most relevant of their Hubs - which may not be the most relevant Hubs available.
So by presenting me with Hubbers I already know about, I could be missing out on a much better link to someone I've never heard of. Just wondering if that's really the best way to go about it.
I think it does relevant link suggestions to a specific word rather than the hub topic.

I've had links to my own related hubs snipped on several occasions (mostly blatant lists at the end of a hub), but some links have been left in place after several snips. So is it acceptable to include a link to a hub...

I was hub hopping and had to flag a few hubs for being substandard (word count). One hub had exactly 10 words and 2 photos. There should be a way the system prevents you from publishing a hub like that except if it's in...
