Hey everyone, I checked my word count on my latest article: How To Make Passive Income: Ways To Make Money and I didn't think I had those many words and it came out to be 2,211 words. Portion of those words came from related articles but it is still my lengthiest article yet. I am so proud. I need to write over 1,500 words often..

That is a whole lot as well. I guess when it comes to writing you just get so into and don't worry about the word count at all.

What did they say about brevity and talent? wink

But seriously, it seems to be more beneficial to split such big hubs into two or more smaller ones. With mine I could not do this because the affiliate links naturally came in the end...

Yes, but you know I don't do anything I'm supposed to on here.  If I did, I'd probably be making more than $13 a month. (sigh).

Although, that Trademark hub wouldn't have split very well anyway.

I actually tried to trim it down as much as I could LOL. I think it really depends on a topic and how good you know it. At least for me some topics promote more words than others smile

I prefer to stay around 500 words, I get weary reading 1,000 word+

    Just my opinion lol

I feel you eltravose, that is why I try to write around 500 to maybe 600 words because people get bored and move on to something else. Some people read the whole article. I do sometimes depending on the topic of the article.
