Who will become my 500th fan! I excitedly wait for you to reveal yourself. Didn't think I would reach this mark, so didn't even set it as a goal. Yet it is almost a reality.
Waiting . . . waiting . . .
Well thank you very much! Although I thought we had already joined each others fan club. Still you now carry a special place in my heart, Cagsil
Jen, now i'm surfing with my cell phone, can't see the follow button s**t. I want to be you 500th fan.......ooooops, you got it, the 500th one, now....... Congrats
Jen, You have 500 followers now, another milestone achieved great work!
Info Bucket, Research Analyst, and mtsi1098, thank you all for the congrats. Info Bucket, Cagsil acted very quickly so I went to bed knowing I reached the 500 mark.
For a while I thought I might hit 100 hubs with 100 followers and 100 hub feedbacks, but some fool made the followers 101 so there's no point in trying. Maybe the stars can align at 200.
Pcunix, you are doing great for the short amount of time you've been here.
M.s Fowler, I figured since I don't randomly follow anyone who follows me, reaching 300 would be unimaginable. I still have those folks who disregard me once they see I don't automatically follow in return. But it is one sure way to get to 600. ;-)
LOL, thanks starme77, I visited your profile page and will be returning the favor!
You have the right idea. I have followed back most of the people who have followed me, but I have to see something that will give me a reason. If all they are doing is researching keywords so they can cobble up another useless post, why would I?
Give me some passion, some humor, some angst. At least give me a different angle, a different take. I WANT to be able to follow back, but I need a reason.
For my part, I'll follow interesting or promising people I find in Answers or the Forums and don't care if they follow back or not.
I have made mistakes. There are a couple of people I will need to un-follow. I don't want to hurt their feelings, but they are just cluttering up my HP mail and are not interesting in any way. I keep putting that task off :-)
I need to go read some of your posts to see why 500 people would follow. Maybe I will find a reason to join them :-)
LOL, I'm glad there was something worth following! I decided to follow you before I read this post as well.
I have un-followed people which is why I expect to be un-followed down the road. I do enjoy most hubbers here though even if I don't end up reading their articles as much as I would like.
Glad I have found some new hubbers to follow this weekend!
I doubt I'll ever have to un-follow you.
One of your posts inspired me to write something that has been inside me a long time. It won't ever make me any money, it won't be popular. but I had to write it and I have you to thank for helping coax it out of me.
If you weren't so far away I'd offer to run over and help with your network problem :-)
Money ain't all it's cracked up to be. I will be looking forward to reading your up and coming up hub. The hubs that mean the most to me don't make me any money to speak of either.
At least I can begin to better understand what might be the problem with my laptop. Thanks for the useful info found in your article!
Hi Jen;
I was getting ready to let you know that I would fan you if I were not a fan already. But I see that you've made it! So...

In my years on this site I have seen so many people randomly follow me in hopes that I follow them back. And then as soon as I do, if the topics they write on interest me, they delete me from the hubbers they're following?Do you guys really think this makes people want to read and comment on...

What has your experience been. Did you notice that the more people you followed, the more people followed you? Did you ever start following people just because you wanted more followers? I have been pretty selective in the people that I follow and I am totally happy with all of the awesome Hubbers...

I've had twitter for a while. I find it very spammy, so don't really read it. I post my hubs there & the occasional article I like. I have approx 300 followers (many are writers), yet in my traffic, I have very rarely had a visitor from twitter. Do the backlinks count for...

Why do followers stop following ?I have lost 3 followers this week for no apparent reason. I wonder what people's reasons are for unfollowing each other. Why follow in the first place? My suspicious mind tells me it is people who only followed me originally to try to increase their own flock of...

On Hubpages, if someone follows you, do you have to follow them back as courtesy?I have noticed a lot of people that have followed me that don't leave any comments. I wonder if I should follow them back as courtesy or not? The ones that do leave comments when they follow me are the ones...

A lot of them are new. So I guess my hubs are showing up quite frequently on the front page, or something. Either way, it's not like people are following me because I've followed them. I just actually seem to be picking up one new follower every day.Is this a compliment of my skills or is it just a...
