I wanted to publish my first hub but I don't have idea what was going on. I could not publish..it says,
Sorry, because of rule violations associated with your account or ip address, permission to publish new hubs has been revoked. You can still edit your existing hubs and save your changes to this hub by clicking the done editing button. Your right to publish may automatically be restored through time and adherence to the HubPages rules. Fixing or deleting existing flagged hubs may also help.
I need your idea. What I am suppose to do regarding this? Any help is highly appreciated. Thank you
Are you using a shared computer like in a library? Sometimes this can cause problems. You can go to 'help' in the top right of the screen. Then over on the right of the next page under answered questions there is a 'contact us' button. Read the FAQs first in case it gives you a clue what is going on and if you still need help, then use the 'contact us' link to email the team. Good luck.
thank you for sharing your idea..but this is my personal laptop..anyway I will try to check once more
I have checked in the FAQ's..and this is the answer of my question:
If you receive an error stating that you no longer have permission to publish hubs, it is because your account has been banned. Usually, an account is banned for repeated rules violations, or for creating large numbers of accounts solely for promotional purposes.
I was not aware at all that I have violated the any of the rules here. Do i still have a chance to solve this and create my hub?
pls...pls...pls...i need your help so badly
thank you so much
There are two possible reasons (you have mentioned only one):
- Account has been banned
- Problems associated with the IP address
The first reason is probably not what it is, or you wouldn't even be able to post to the forum.
What the second reason often means is that someone has been using the same IP address before. This can be the case if using a public computer. But it can also happen if you have a dynamic IP address, which previously has belonged to somebody else. Or if a friend or relative of yours worked from the same computer and violated HP rules.
If you did nothing wrong, HubPages should quickly reinstate your right to publish. The first step is to contact them and ask them to clarify the reason, and explain in case you do not believe that you have broken any rules.

Thanks for dropping by and share your thoughts regarding my problem.
Firstly I was able to join forums..tried to interact with the conversations.
I just wish to publish my first hub ever..
off to check the site you have give me..
Try contact the admin and see what they can do for you. At least sort out the problem for you.
Good luck!
thank you.
I did it just a few hours ago..but have not got any response yet
can't wait to hear from them..

So, I have finally finished my goal of writing 100 hubs but I have not published them yet as I'm practically frightened of what HP will do with them. I feel like I have been "flagged" meaning I just imagine the HP team seeing my new hub and going "oh that trouble maker again.. go on...
