at the top of your individual page, next to the edit button, on the same line as suggest links... its fantastic. And Im really excellent at the moment, still poddling around waiting to find out if I have a lease or not., yet Im doing good.
and thankyou and hope your world is treating you well. Love the hair!!!
I also noticed what I think is a new feature.
When you're editing your hub and you can see all the individual capsules...there's now a grey arrow on the left side, in between each capsule, so you can add a new one and insert it right there, instead of going to the bottom of the page and then have to re-order the capsules. Cool.
Thanks HP. ![]()
I am glad it was mentiioned, because I never noticed it!
It may not be new to you, but it's new to some of us who've been around here for a long time. I just checked it out, and it's a feature I'll use.
Thanks, timorous.
Boy will I use it.
The reason I never saw it is because I can't see it. It is there, and if I hover my mouse just to the left of the end of one capsule, the toolbar tip says "Insert Here" but otherwise there is no indication whatsoever. It works, but there is no visual indication (Chrome and Safari on Mac OS X).
My pervious procedure upon starting a new hub has been to delete the photo and the comments and then click, click, click to add six or seven text capsules. After I have filled them in, I go back and add the other kinds of capsules and move or reorder them into place.
Now that I know about this, I can save myself a lot of shuffling around.
It's such a small pale blue/grey arrow ("greater than" symbol) that it's almost impossible to see. My brand new HP Pavilion DV7 shows it as a character at maybe a 10% screen.
There was a similar issue with "start a new hub" a while back, where the words blended into the HP banner because the green was too similar in saturation to the black background.
Maybe HP will do something about this.
LOL, Pcunix, that's what I do, too! And I never noticed this feature before either. So glad to find out about this ... thanks, timorous! ![]()
wow thats fantastic, save so much time and effort. Thankyou hubpages and you dear for sharing.
Boy, new or not, it sure is useful. Sometimes it seems that half my time is shuffling around capsules. I love it! Thanks, timorous!
Im sure over the coming months I am going to discover a lot of cool things about this place.

0I'm glad I read this topic! I've learned a few useful things which I will use in future to help my hubbing along
thanks everyone.
yes thanks everyone. Wow that insertion button will definitely save me so much time... and the statistics for individual hubs saves me having to work out my google stats.

Hi MickiIf you've noticed I've not written any hubs recently, I'm on my vacations from University and thought of doing a 30 hubs in 30 days challenge. Rather, I've gone for a 30 Wizzley articles in 30 days - for a good reason: Their amazon Capsules are way better formatted - users feel like...

I am really puzzled. My hubber score has dropped again, down to 70.here's what I have done to try to get it up.1. added more hubs, I have 14 now2. tried to make them quality hubs - not self-promo like before3. last 6 are amazon hubs with only a link to my hub profile,or to other hubpages, no...

Okay, to start with, the features in the capsules we have are already pretty awesome, and my hat is off to the programmers for coming up with all these utilities. There is one additional feature that would be on my wish list, and that would be the option to "drag and drop" photo and map...

The nice thing about the new Amazon capsule is that it displays the description text in the same size as the rest of the hub. This can be beneficial and may turn into better sales. So I reorganized one of my hubs, moving much of my text from text capsules into the Amazon description fields. This...

Has anyone noticed the "new" streaming amazon button in Amazon capsule (normally stagnant below products). Not sure if I like the blinking while reading but if that draws more clicks to affiliates then I'm all for it ! I'm thinking this might have something to do with the stats glitch...

So I'm going through my Hubs and making sure they are mobile/desktop friendly. I noticed that a lot of my hub capsules have ridiculous amounts of spaces to them after the paragraph ends. It makes it so there is a bunch of white space between the sections of my Hubs. Has anyone else noticed this?...
