Hi folks,
I wanted to write a hub about marketing tips for self-publishers. I was going to name some people that I've recommended for marketing books, but I didn't know if it was considered promotional to name individual or company names. I don't have any interest in promoting anybody, just trying to be helpful and point people in some directions.
Peace,
Donna
Hi Donna, actually recommending people is a way of promoting their products if someone purchase from them.
Hey Donna,
You can promote anything you like, but if you are going to put links in your hub, then you cannot put more than 2 links to any individual domain.
It isn't wrong to promote someone's product or recommending it either, but would be "overly promotional" if you put more than 2 links to their domain.
I would hope that you are using the techniques or the product yourself, so your hub would be a review "type" of hub.
I hope that helped.

Hi, what do you do if the traffics of your articles has dropped? And also, what is/are the difference/s between performance and traffic? Thank you

Just something I noticed. The hubs that have been edited by Editbot have already picked up more traffic than what is usual for them, even after dismissing my view to see the changes. We also know that Google loves fresher content. Is it possible that our Google overlords see this as a sort of site...

I'm in a career transition now, hopefully about to sell our business, and have been approached by a couple companies about writing content for their sites. Has anyone else here got experience on web writing and what to charge?I think what I will do since there is obviously a market for this is to...

I am planning on taking a long trip. I am going to write about it here on Hubpages. My question is can I use some of my hubs to create an e-book about the trip or would that be considered duplicate content? ...what say ye?
